Mark Beaumont’s adventures have taken him to over 100 countries over the past twenty years, making him one of the most respected ultra-endurance athletes on the planet.
Five years on from his famous 'Around the World in 80 Days', there is no sign of anyone breaking his circumnavigation World Record.
Faster captures the wanderlust to find new disciplines of cycling and new wild places, including those closer to home.
As Mark turns 40, he reflects on a career which has evolved from the footloose epics of his 20s, now building towards a level of performance and precision that allows him to continue to push boundaries.

Kelly Richardson: Leviathan
The Amelia Scott Centre
Fri 3rd Feb 2023
A large-scale triple screen immersive video installation by the artist Kelly Richardson.
A large-scale triple screen immersive video installation by the artist Kelly Richardson.
The work draws on Richardson's distinct art practice which focusses on ideas around conservation and a careful observation of the effects of humanity on the planet. She films the bald cypress trees, indigenous to Caddo Lake in Uncertain, Texas, and manipulates the footage, creating a series of twisting, snake-like tendrils of yellowish light in the water with an eerie soundtrack replacing the sounds of nature.
The staging of Leviathan at The Amelia Scott comes at a significant time historically, in reflection of growing global climate concerns and places Tunbridge Wells once again at the centre of environmental and conservation debates.
