Material Girl: The Madonna Story

Assembly Hall Theatre

Sun 20th May

Material Girl celebrates the greatest songs from the Queen of Pop, Madonna.

With incredible vocals, amazing dancers, video footage and narration, audiences are taken on a journey through the scandals, the controversy and of course the music of one of the world’s most iconic figures.

Told through the eyes of our leading lady, Jodie Jackson, audiences will hear stories and little known facts about Madonna as the show follows her career and music through her 35 years at the top.

The Best of May

In the midst of various music acts the Assembly Hall has Grease (15-19 May), this production from TWODS will be excellent so worth checking out. This is followed (from 29 May) by Joe Pasquale as the hapless Frank Spencer in Some Mother Do 'Ave 'Em. If you hanker for a bit of slapstick this may be for you.
